About Us

Laben Agriculturel Analysis Laboratory was established in April 2001 within the structure of TAMER AGRICULTURAL Lth. Co. Under the consultancy of AKDENİZ ÜNİVERSİTESİ
(theMediterranian Univ.) Faculty of Agriculture, Soil Department. the laboratory was started to give services for the fertilizer producers and for the producers working on agricultural products like soil, plant, water and fertilizer analysis.Later after seperation from Tamer Agricultural Lth Co. continiued functioning independently under the title of LabEN LABORATORY INDUSTRY, CHEMICAL INDUSTRY AND TRADE Lth. CO. Our laboratory is accredited by the Turkish Standard Institute (TSE) in accordance with the standard TSE EN- ISO 17025. thus, it is being the first and currently the unique accredited laboratory of our country and carry the responsibility of this in all the undertaken works. Starting from the establishment our Laboratory continued its development by a high acceleration level. Presently, under the consultancy of academician on Plant Nutrition (Prof. Dr. Turgut Köseoglu) 2 agricultural engineers, 2 chemists, 1 laborant and 2 staff are working. the methods used in analysis are internationally accepted and especially our soil analysis methods suitability to our country's soils were proven by different universities and research institutions.the aim of the soil analysis is to show the productivity potential of agricultural lands and to identify the Plant Nutrition Material wil be supplied on the cultivated land.

For this aim, in the soil sample analysis Ph carbonats, active lime, total soluble salt, saturation, structure, organic material, total N, absorbable P, K, Ca, Mg, Na, Fe, Mn, Zn, Cu, B, Mo analysis are made; the results are commented and the fertilizing programs are prepared taking into consideration the necessities of plant structure for the plant will be cultivated. By this way supplying only the necessary amount of fertilizers, the productivity level of extremly valuble agricultural lands and productivity balances are protected; negetive effect of fertilizing on environment are eliminated. thus, the more qualified and the more helty agricultural products can be obtained.

Plant analysis (especially leaves) were applied indirectly to show the productivity situation of the land cultivated; for the control and the development of the fertilizing programs. In the leaves analysis N, P, K, Ca, Mg, Ma, Fe, Mn, Zn, Cu, B and Mo plant nutrition analysis are made and the results are compared with upper and lower limits peculiar to the plant andtheir nutrition levels are evaluated.

the analysis used in water samples particularly oriented to specifying the irrigation water quality. By making the Ph, Ec, Cations (K, Ca, Mg, Na) and anions(Co3, HCO3, Cl, So4) analysis, the ratio of sodium absorbtion (SAR) permenant sodium carbonat and potential saltiness values are calculated. By this way irrigation water classification is indicated. the prepared reports are accepted as valid documents officially by DSI (State Water Instıtution) for the producers.

While supplying the demands of the fertilizers producers by making the fertilizer analysis; also other necessary analysis are made. the fertilizer sample analysis are: total N, NO2, NO3, NH4, NH2, P, K, Ca, Mg, Fe, Cu, Zn, Mn, B, Mo, Cr, Pb, ni, Cd, S, Na, Cl, Si, SO3, SO4, Al, Organic structures Ph. As known, for the conformity of the EC, among some of the changes recently aimed in agricultural sector is the obligation of licancing their products for the fertilizer producers. In the stage of fertilizer certification and in the later stage of market supervision the Directorate of the Fertilizer Supervision Chamber of the Ministry of Agriculture is accepting our laboratory reports as an accredited laboratory by TSE.

Our laboratory has a cummulation of knowledge to respond the demands in relation to fertilizing aim. the analysis of almost for all the plant designs subject to fertilizing proposals in accordane with soil and leave analysis are performed until today , such as the vegetables (tomatoes, cucumber, egg plant and pepper) cultivated in green houses and in the fields are being in the first order. Fallowings are fruits (hard and soft seeded fruits, banana, citrus fruits, olive and vineyards) field plants (wheat, barley, cotton, corn, potatoes) and decorative plants (carnation, gerbera, rose).

Particularly, in green houses and decorative plants cultivations the time span past between the soil and the leave analysis and the reporting of the results are highly important. In realisation this, our laboratory is the first in its field. At most in five days the analysis are reaching the producers.

Among the aims of our laboratory: shortening the time period of the above mentioned analysis and adding the analysis list the residue analysis for trhe export products can be mentioned.
